Millions of people still don’t have access to safe drinking water in countries around the globe.
Kenny Khoo, a water-sanitation engineer, is hoping to change that.
At London’s inaugural Pecha Kucha Night — an evening of short presentations on just about anything — Khoo shared his story of helping to build sustainable water infrastructure to underserved areas of India.
According to Khoo, safe drinking water and its infrastructure not only reduces deaths from water-borne illnesses, but creates an economy to support it.
After the presentation, Khoo shared his thoughts on the value of water.
